I am watching it right now and they’ve gone 2 laps in the last hour because these idiots keep crashing. If you like the sport, please explain.

It is an absolute embarrassment and just shows that the back-markers are some of the worst professional drivers in the world. I try hard to try and take the series seriously, but there are about eight drivers who actually can get a hot-rod directed in a straight line….and the rest……well, now you see why Tony George has to fund half the field so the league can give the impression of having a decent-sized field.

Rofl how could you complain about the IRL and a few crashes when your so loved nascar has so many more? Those “idiots” are some of the best drivers in the country. Not only that, theres a few rookies out there and it is a pretty damn tough course..

Only ignorant nascar fans hate as much as you two do. If you knew a damn thing about your own sport, you would be hesitant to post such stupid things. Your sport steals the IRLs invention of safer barriers, handles things in the most unprofessional matter, is practically a dictatorship, and repairs races. Not only that each race has hardly any real racing. You think playing bumper cars is racing? Hardly. Rubbins racing to an extent..

The IRL is just getting back on its feet. Since the split there hasn't been too much to cheer for. Now that everything is one, real racing fans in America will soon realize how much superior the racing truly is in the IRL. It'll be a few years tho before the IRL is competing with nascar when it comes to ratings and fans in the stands..

Okay..so first off…I absolutely LOVE nascar & indycar…& I’m going to begin trying to get into F1. a TRUE racing fan does NOT bash another form of racing.

I think all of you that have answered before me need to give the other forms a chance before you start bashing it. Both IndyCar & Nascar are GREAT sports & I love them both with a passion.

The IRL has some of the ideal drivers in the world.

They go a lot faster than nascar does (but that doesn’t make nascar any less great)

The IRL has just joined with the champ cars….so the series will be getting back going a lot superior now.

It’s just like nascar or F1.

It’s a group of extraordinary drivers who have a passion for racing & side by side action going over 150 or even 200 mph.

Don’t judge it by just one race. Watch a few more races. & actually try to get into it. Pay attention to all the details & everything that’s happening. It’s an extraordinary racing series.

I watch Indy Car racing because I enjoy watching NASCAR fans flip out like this. For the record, the official Lap Reports from tonight said that they ran their first 125 laps within 58 minutes. I'm not sure why you felt the need to lie about that (2 laps within an hour), but I'm glad we're making you fear our growth enough to try and make us look bad. The next time a NASCAR race has twenty cautions, I'll think of you and laugh again.
