My friend told me that if you watch movies in the dark(without your lights on) its not healthy for you. Its superior to watch a motion picture with your lights on. Is that true? He stated that it gives more radiation or something.
Is that bad? Can u give me some info
thanks?
Here's a thought to ask your friend, if it is so bad to stare at the screen in the dark why do you watch movies in the dark at the theater. The fact that you are staring into the light makes no never-mind. It isn’t ultraviolet and it is not right up in your eyes like a laser. Looking straight into a laser pointer will in fact make you go blind because it damages the retina, but a laser is a concentrated light aimed at a specific point , in this case your retina. A TV is a mixture of shades of light forming an image on a screen in a reflective process. You are actually seeing a reflected image and not the direct light image.
OH and a television doesn't produce radiation!!!
