I have been watching Ellen, not her speak show but the her Television comedy show she had on years ago which was called Ellen, and I am not a lesbian and never thought about what it would be like with another woman. So your parents should not assume that about you.

If anybody ever saw her old shows, she basically dressed the same way as she does now and “came out” later on (at least her character did) right before her show got canceled. I knew a long time ago she was a lesbian.

I have always liked Ellen and I think she is funny without trying to be funny.

I doubt it. I am a lesbian and I don't watch people's shows just because they are lesbian or gay. Gay people are a tiny more apt to watch gay related shows that straight people but, Ellen is comedy not a lesbian show.

If her parents weren't very open minded and were fairly set in their ways, maybe so. I wouldn't comprehend their reasoning behind it though.

If I watch a science fiction movie with lots of lasers and robots, will that make me want to purchase a robot (or a Death Star lol)? If I watch a war movie will I want to go out and purchase a tank or a machine gun. No. Neither of the make any more sense than watching Ellen would make you gay.
